This Privacy Policy explains how Casa Bali Propertia, trading as Casa Bali Propertia ("Casa Bali Propertia", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or contact us about property in Bali.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries and viewing requests. Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, your message, the property you are asking about, your preferred viewing dates, and the language you used on the site.
  • Property submissions. If you ask us to market your property: your contact details, details of the property (such as type, location, size, ownership status and asking price), and any photos you upload.
  • Messages sent outside the website. When you use our WhatsApp or email buttons, your message is sent through WhatsApp or your own email service. We receive what you choose to send, such as your name, number or email address, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data. Your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you request. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, for example by limiting how often forms or report downloads can be used.
  • Preferences stored on your device. Your language, currency and light or dark theme, your shortlist and comparison selections, and your cookie choice. These are kept in cookies or your browser's local storage. Your shortlist stays on your device unless you choose to send it to us.
  • Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which areas are searched most or which reports are downloaded. If you decline, analytics is not loaded.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to include it in your messages.

  • To assess and market a property you submit. Legal basis: your request, and your consent for the photos and details to be published.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website, and to prevent spam and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
  • To measure how the website is used. Legal basis: your consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims. Legal basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interests.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when needed:

  • The partner developer of a property you enquire about, where this is necessary to answer your questions or arrange a viewing.
  • Professional advisers, such as notaries and legal advisers, if you proceed with a transaction.
  • Service providers that help us run the website and our communications: website security and delivery (Cloudflare), maps (OpenFreeMap), analytics (Google, only with your consent), and the messaging platforms you choose to use (WhatsApp).
  • Authorities, where required by law.

Service providers may process data outside your country, including outside Indonesia and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

5. Cookies and local storage

  • Strictly necessary. These remember your language, currency, theme and cookie choice, keep your shortlist and comparisons on your device, and protect the site against automated abuse. They do not require consent.
  • Analytics (optional). Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the site, or by clearing cookies and local storage in your browser.

When you view a map, map images are loaded from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address. The fonts on this site are served from our own servers.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries and property submissions: for as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows, and afterwards only for as long as reasonably necessary for our records or to meet legal obligations.
  • Technical and security data: for a short period, unless needed to investigate abuse.
  • Preferences on your device: until you clear them in your browser.

Investment reports (PDF) are generated when you request them and are not stored.

7. How we protect your data

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to authorised staff, protect the administration area, and keep regular encrypted backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
